  • Campuses

    做爱视频 Institute of Technology has three campuses in Rhode Island, two in Warwick and one in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. All three of 做爱视频鈥檚 campuses are centrally located and just a short distance south of the state鈥檚 capital, Providence.

    做爱视频鈥檚 main campus in East Greenwich serves as the university鈥檚 residential campus and the headquarters to all administrative departments. The East Greenwich campus sits on 220 acres of land and contains a residence hall, dining hall, fitness center, and 431,500 square foot state-of-the-art academic building.

    Meltzer Hall, 做爱视频 Tech鈥檚 premier, four-story, residential hall includes student lounges, study rooms, game room, lounge with fireplace, and multi-purpose common spaces. The addition to 做爱视频鈥檚 main building in East Greenwich includes a Student Center dining facility, a caf茅, fireplace, pool and ping pong tables, foosball, video gaming area, large screen TVs, and a variety of sitting areas and lounges for students to gather. The 8,000 sq. ft. fitness center includes a multi-purpose room for group classes along with a combination of aerobic and fitness equipment and a weight area.听

    The Julian B. Gouse Campus, located at 2500 Post Road, Warwick, consists of two buildings containing more than 120,000 square feet of faculty and administrative offices, classroom and laboratory space, as well as a student lounge and an eating area.听

    The nearby Access Road Campus in Warwick consists of four buildings containing more than 114,000 square feet of office, classroom, and laboratory space featuring a custom-designed 53,000 square-foot facility dedicated exclusively to the training of automotive technicians which opened in April 2005. The Access Road Campus receives power from a 156-foot wind turbine and an array of 135 solar panels. In addition, the automotive laboratory utilizes both energy recovery and geothermal technologies to supply pre-heated and pre-cooled fresh air into the facility.

    All 做爱视频 Tech facilities were either originally designed or extensively remodeled to serve the institutional needs of the university, its mission and purposes. Laboratories have been conceived for the technology of the 21st century and they equal or surpass industry standards. Spacious and well-lighted, many of these combined classroom/laboratories have been custom-built to faculty and staff specifications. These facilities integrate computers into a highly functional setting for the technological training that is necessary to prepare students for successful applications in the workplace.

  • Feinstein Enriching America Program

    做爱视频 Institute of Technology is the recipient of a grant from the Feinstein Foundation. The objective of the Feinstein Enriching America Program is to promote the theme and values of caring, compassion, and community involvement. All students are encouraged to participate in this program which involves community-based volunteerism and may include academic credit.

  • Annual Security Report

    做爱视频 distributes an annual security report to all current students and employees. Prospective students and employees may obtain a copy of the current report from the Business Office. The report includes campus policies regarding various security and emergency matters as well as statistics concerning the occurrence on campus of reported criminal offenses. In its 2022 report, 做爱视频 had minimal incidents to report.

Admissions Policies

  • Transfer of Credit Policy

    做爱视频 Institute of Technology will accept transfer credits from another post-secondary institution, regionally accredited by an agency approved by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), which meet the following conditions:

    1. An official transcript from the institution at which the coursework was completed must be submitted to the Enrollment Management Office.
    2. The course(s) for which transfer credit is requested are equivalent in both credit hours and content to the theory and/or lab course(s) offered at 做爱视频. The student may be required to provide college catalog descriptions from the original institution for equivalency to be determined.
    3. Coursework in general education not leading to a degree will be evaluated for current relevancy; therefore, math, science, and technical courses must have been completed within 3 years of enrollment at 做爱视频 while all other courses must have been completed within 10 years of enrollment at 做爱视频.
    4. Coursework related to the curriculum in a specific major must be evaluated by the relevant Department Chair.
    5. At the discretion of the Department Chair, courses that are not equivalent in both credit hours and content of required courses within an academic major, may be substituted for/accepted as technical electives.
    6. A student who has earned an associate degree will be considered to have met all associate-level general education requirements, unless any course(s) are prerequisites to coursework within the academic major.
    7. A student who has earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree will be considered to have met all bachelor-level general education requirements, unless any course(s) are prerequisites to coursework within the academic major.
    8. A maximum of 46 quarter (30 semester) transfer credits may be accepted for an associate degree program, 58 quarter (38 semester) transfer credits for an Applied Technical Studies associate degree program, 42 quarter (28 semester) transfer credits for a bachelor鈥檚 degree program, and 4 quarter (3 semester) transfer credits for a master鈥檚 degree program. No transfer credits are accepted for doctoral programs.

    9. The minimum earned grade for undergraduate coursework in a non-health science program is a 鈥淐鈥 (73%), or above.
    10. The minimum earned grade for undergraduate health science coursework will be held to the grade rules for the degree and program.
    11. The minimum earned grade for relevant graduate coursework is a grade of 鈥淏鈥 (83%).
    12. Transcripts must be received prior to the second class session of any course in which the student is currently enrolled for consideration of transfer credit.
    13. Transfer coursework for which credit is awarded will be recorded, by the Enrollment Management Office, on the student鈥檚 transcript without a grade designation and therefore will not be calculated in the student鈥檚 grade point average but will be counted in computing satisfactory academic progress.
    14. Enrollment Management Office will make notifications regarding award of transfer credit to the Business Office and the Registrar. Student notifications will subsequently be made by the Enrollment Management Office.
    15. Requests for transfer credit from institutions located outside the U.S. will be evaluated on an individual basis with consideration of the above conditions.
    16. To convert semester hours to quarter hours, multiply earned semester hours by 1.5.

    Students may petition the Enrollment Management Office for consideration of special circumstances.

    Upon completion of the credit review process, students will receive written notification of the 做爱视频 courses for which transfer credit was accepted.

    做爱视频 reserves the right to refuse admission to any student for any reason other than race, color, religious belief, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, or disability.

  • Vaccination Policy

    Applicants must provide a certificate, signed by a physician, confirming that they have been immunized against measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella, that they have received a booster dose of tetanus and diphtheria (Td) within the last 10 years, and 3 doses of Hepatitis B vaccine or a positive titer. Meningococcal conjugate vaccine in the last 5 years is required for students under the age of 22 who will live in the Residence Hall.

  • International Admissions

    做爱视频 Institute of Technology welcomes applications from international students. Currently, international students at the university represent 26 countries from Asia, Europe, the Caribbean Basin, North America, Central America, Africa and South America. The university offers a wide array of support systems specifically geared toward the needs and culture of the international community.

    International applicants must meet the domestic admission requirements set forth in the Admissions section of this catalog (above) to qualify for admission to 做爱视频. To apply to 做爱视频 Tech, an applicant must submit an application online at听/apply. Candidates for whom English is not their first language must demonstrate fluency in English and must submit a recent TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, GTEC CBT, CEFR, ASC English, or ELS score. Please refer to the chart below for the minimum scores required for undergraduate versus graduate programs.

    International applicants must submit the applicable application and registration fees. All information submitted to the university should be sent to the attention of the International Admissions Office via听[email protected]. All international transcripts must be submitted to WES (World Education Services) for credential evaluations 鈥 the cost of WES services is the responsibility of the applicant.

    Upon receipt of the student鈥檚 affidavit of financial support, 做爱视频 Tech will issue the necessary immigration paperwork to obtain a U.S. Student Visa.

  • Non-Degree Seeking Students

    Students who are not admitted to a degree program, or who do not seek degree candidacy, may be permitted to take a limited number of courses.

    Authorization to take courses is granted by the Office of Teaching and Learning based on evidence that the students are capable of successfully completing the courses for which they seek to register.

    Acceptable evidence may include successful completion of college courses at other institutions of higher education, standardized test results such as the SAT, or satisfactory performance on the appropriate 做爱视频 Assessment Test as reported by the Academic Skills Center.

    Registration of non-degree seeking students will be reviewed for satisfactory performance by the Office of Teaching and Learning each term. Non-degree seeking students may register for a maximum of thirty credits. Authorization to register beyond the thirty-credit limit may be granted by the Office of Teaching and Learning.

    Non-degree seeking students will enjoy all the privileges of classroom participation; registration and grades for all courses will be recorded on an official college transcript. Those who subsequently wish to become degree candidates must follow the standard application procedures for admission. Credits earned as a non-degree seeking student will be evaluated by the Office of Teaching and Learning as to their pertinence and applicability in satisfying the requirements for the degree for which the student applies. All degree candidates must be formally admitted as matriculated students.
